I have been thinking a lot about my life and the different events that have shaped me into who I am. I have made a couple of decisions for 2026 in hopes that I will be able to truly heal from the traumas in my past and move into my future as a whole person, filled with love and gratitude.
- Positive Vibes Only!
- I am going to focus on the positive. I spend so much time in the negative space, and it weighs me down. Not this year. This year, we are going to find the positive in every situation. Every day is going to be a good day, no matter what happens.
- No Dating
- I have come to realize a lot of things about myself recently. Mostly, because I did not receive the affection, protection, and guidance I needed as a child, I have become a very codependent adult.
This year, we are going to focus on healing and forgiveness. We are going to work on learning new coping mechanisms, and how to be emotionally independent!

- Take control over what goes into my mouth
- For decades, I have used food to deal with my emotions rather than, ya know, deal with them. So this year, I am being intentional about not letting my emotions drive my eating. I am working on eating to fuel my body, not because I am sad, bored, happy, etc.
- Move my body!
- I have gotten SO lazy about moving my body. I am the heaviest I have ever been, and it is time to do something about it. The goal is to move my body with intention every single day, for at least 30 minutes. Whether that is walking on the treadmill, shaking my groove thing with my Infinity Hoop, going for a walk, or dare I say, riding my bike.
- Write! Write! Write!
- I really want to get back into the habit of writing several times a week. So, thank you, WordPress, for giving me that outlet.
